Teach Technology Questionnaire


My personality will affect my relationship with my students in a positive way. Obviously it will not be perfect every time, but I think I have a great personality to be a teacher. The questionnaire results stated that I seek to build harmony in personal relationships, engender team spirit and encourage others. I like dealing with people, and organize life on a personal basis.

These are great components to have because you want to encourage your students and create some sort of relationship with them. I enjoy interacting with students and teaching them something they can use in their daily life.

Being able to succeed in groups is something that will benefit me in the classroom. My results stated that in a team environment I can contribute by not only working hard to fulfill their own responsibilities, but also ensuring that everyone in the team feels valued. Creating this type of atmosphere is something I really want to accomplish, and I think my personality can contribute to this.



Learning Styles/ Teaching Styles


I think that my teaching and learning styles give me a great idea of what to expect in the classroom. Growing up I always had to work really hard to understand the material, and I think I have a great idea of how many different ways there are to present and learn what the teacher is covering. I like to take the more hands on approach by putting students in groups so they can interact with each other. I believe this is a great way to get the student's brains  thinking in a different way. Having the choice of formatting assignments can be extremely important to students.

You will be able to tell that I am a visual learner by the way I teach certain things, but I also need to be aware of different learning styles that might be present in the classroom. Always being prepared to change a portion of the lesson to benefit a different learning style is something I need to be ready for.

My students' ability to be successful comes down to being prepared for your students. The survey results stated I am an active learner that likes to use different senses to retain information. Whether it is audio, video, text, or some other sort of media I need to make sure I have all of my bases covered.
